President Aliyev thanked the group for attending the National Assembly's special meeting to mark the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev's birth. He recognized the two nations' mutually beneficial relationship, as well as the existing trust and brotherly bonds between their leaders. President Aliyev again emphasized the importance of his travels to Uzbekistan, emphasizing the two countries' longstanding ties.
The Senate Chairman extended gratitude for the friendly reception and noted the significant advances in Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan ties in the last few years. She emphasized the beneficial trends that exist across different sectors and levels of collaboration, in addition to mutual assistance in regional and global organizations.

During the conference, specific initiatives and areas of partnership such as mechanical engineering, agriculture, textile industry, energy, and investment were addressed. Azerbaijan expressed enthusiasm for investigating and utilizing Uzbekistan's expertise in creating IT parks and cluster systems, notably in industries such as textiles and silk.
Both parties recognized the Uzbek and Azerbaijani peoples' spiritual connectedness via shared history, language, and culture. They stressed the value of cultural and educational discussion in promoting understanding and establishing cordial connections.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue the fraternal relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, along with a proposal to organize a special forum aimed at uniting the youth of both nations.
