Emilio Carmona, the president of 'Investrade, recently met with diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan to discuss potential joint investment projects and promoting Uzbekistan-manufactured products to the Spanish market, Dunyo reports.
Reportedly, Carmona expressed his desire to explore new directions for Spanish business and implement joint projects using Spanish technology and capital. In addition, he highlighted his extensive experience advising companies on internationalization and opening new markets and his relationships with financial and public institutions.
Emilio Carmona also noted the growing interest of his clients in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan, citing the country's dynamic economy and investment attractiveness for international business in the Central Asian region. He praised Spanish companies in agro-industry, pharmaceuticals, textiles, mining, and automotive components. He noted the new opportunities for Spanish businesses in the framework agreement on financial cooperation mechanisms signed between Spain and Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the Spanish side presented materials on Uzbekistan's investment and export potential and leading sectors of the country's economy.
The two sides agreed to work on establishing exports of Uzbek products to the Spanish market and implementing joint investment projects with leading Spanish companies.
