Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has not been seen in public since May 9, when he attended a military parade in Moscow with a bandaged hand.
His absence has led to speculations about his health and whereabouts. The press service of the President of Belarus claims that Lukashenko has a busy schedule despite not having any meetings or trips scheduled, and is said to be "working with documents".
However, there is no clear indication of when Lukashenko will appear in public again or how his health is. The President's spokespeople and administration have not revealed any details, only saying that "everything is fine" and urging people not to believe rumors.
Lukashenko's health first came into question when he was unable to walk 300 meters during the Moscow parade, and had to be carried in a car by Russian President Vladimir Putin's bodyguards. He also did not attend a lunch for CIS leaders and did not make a speech at a ceremony in Minsk that evening.
