An investigation was conducted in Bayern's stadium and headquarters when dealing with a money laundering case against Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov, Bild reports.
Usmanov is linked to Bayern via Ole Hyoness, whom he met in March 2022 in Tegernze, Germany. Usmanov was given VIP tickets to Bayern Munich's Champions League games by Hyoness, the club's honorary president.
The law enforcement officers searched for evidence of money laundering, but what they discovered is unknown. Bayern is taking part in the investigation as an observer, not as an incriminating party. A prosecutor's office spokesperson verified that no evidence was being gathered against Bayern, its officials, or any club personnel.
