The Chinese military has launched 38 fighter jets and combat drones toward Taiwan, the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan reports.
According to reports, on April 27 at 06:00 local time, 38 Chinese aircraft, including the TB-001 drone, were reported flying around the island for one day.
During the circular flight, the drone crossed the middle line of the island - the unofficial border that separates the Taiwan Strait. Then it went around its eastern coast and returned to China.
According to the local press, the Ministry of Defense of Taiwan announced for the first time that a Chinese military aircraft was circling over the island from one end of the central line to the other.
The ministry added that 19 aircraft "crossed the middle line of the Taiwan Strait or entered Taiwan's southwest, southeast and northeast (Air Defense Detection Zone)", the largest "intrusion" since China completed three days of exercises earlier this month.
