On April 27, Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke at the opening of the second international investment fund, the presidential press service reports.
“We perceive your arrival in our hospitable land as respect for our country and trust in the reforms we are implementing,” Shavkat Mirziyoyev began his speech.
Dangerous processes and unpredictable changes reign in the international arena, which has become a serious test for the world economy.
The Uzbek authorities are trying to improve the investment climate and maintain stability in the country.
“Uzbekistan has created the most convenient fiscal system in Central Asia, major changes have been made in taxation, major steps are being taken in terms of guaranteed protection of investors’ rights in court, any uncertainties that arise will be resolved in favor of investors,” he continued.
In 2023, for the first time in the history of the country, the International Commercial Court will be opened with the support of foreign experts.
The President also addressed foreign investors:
“I try to communicate with representatives of foreign companies and business circles as often as possible. Your ideas, suggestions and initiatives inspire me, give me strength and encourage new changes. Therefore, I am ready to meet with every new investor, to personally guarantee the success of your business in our country.”
“You will find everything you need for business in our country – peace, stability, a favorable investment climate, and reliable guarantees. As President, I act as your guarantor. I am sure that New Uzbekistan will become the best country for your business activities and leave a bright mark on it,” the head of the country concluded.
