The Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Employment, Behzod Musayev, held a meeting with Wolfgang Tiefenzei, the Minister of Economy, Science and Digital Technologies of the Federal Land of Thuringia, to discuss future cooperation possibilities, the ministry's press service reports.
The discussion mainly focused on the development of labor migration, employment, and vocational training in Germany and Uzbekistan.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment and the Erfurt Vocational Training Center. Under this agreement, vocational learners from Uzbekistan will receive training in four areas based on European standards, including instrument locksmith, technical mechatronics, building and construction maintenance adjuster, and renewable energy equipment adjuster.
Additionally, German language courses will be offered at the "Ishga Merhamat" mono-center.
