Uzbekistan's Ambassador Dilshod Akhatov has met with Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State for External Affairs and Culture of India, to discuss upcoming cultural and humanitarian events, Dunyo reports.
The sides expressed their views on careful preparation for the upcoming events to multiply the practical results of bilateral cooperation and introduce new mutually beneficial joint projects.
Meenakshi Lekhi visited Uzbekistan after her appointment in September 2021. During the talks in the country's Foreign Ministry and other departments, a new dynamic in bilateral relations was noted with satisfaction, resulting from an active trust dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and India.
Reportedly, the joint cultural and art activities strengthen mutual understanding between the people of the two countries. Besides, the two governments have inked a cultural exchange program for 2021-2025.
