Uzbekistan opened its Embassy in Hungary, Uzbekistan's Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has reported. At the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Central Asian country's diplomatic mission was established in Budapest.
Acting Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held talks with his Hungarian colleague Péter Szijjártó.

Following the meeting, the FMs signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation in cultural heritage.

Uzbekistan and Hungary intend to strengthen collaboration in exchanging experience and knowledge in policies and foundations for restoring and preserving cultural heritage.
