Uzbekistan on February 6 adopted the presidential decree 'On Approval of the International Treaty'. Following the document, a preferential trade agreement between Uzbekistan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan inked on March 3, 2022, in Islamabad was approved.
The Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade along with the Customs Committee shall be responsible for its implementation.
Reportedly, the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of relevant government departments will ensure the fulfillment of Uzbekistan's obligations after the document enters into force.
