The Institute of Materials Science of Uzbekistan's Academy of Sciences and Japan’s Jit Engineering & Solutions Pte.Ltd agreed to advertise welding materials and technologies developed by Uzbek scientists in markets of India and South Asian counties, Dunyo reports.
In particular, Uzbekistan’s scholars will design welding materials from local and secondary raw materials for aluminum alloys, stainless steel, and other metals used to construct critical structures, including bridges, buildings, and process rooms, and test them. In addition, the Japanese company will promote domestic welding materials and technologies created by scientists to the world markets.
Reportedly, the staff of Uzbekistan's institution has developed 12 varieties of activating fluxes intended for welding all types of steels, titanium, and their alloys. The manufacturing technology and composition of the fluxes have been patented in the European Union.
