Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov said that although Singapore had no natural resources, it produced the highest GDP per capita in the world during an interview at the Uzbekistan-Singapore Business Forum, which was held on the eve of the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Singapore.
"Singapore has focused primarily on human capital and invested in education. The status of teachers here is very high, the whole world recognizes it," he said.
"Singapore has put a lot of emphasis on the integration of education, science and production. Many projects and start-ups have appeared in universities and brought great benefits to the economy. The special clause of the agreement stipulates expanding the scope of Singaporean educational institutions in our country," Karimov underpinned.
