On January 26, the restriction on the working hours of trade and service outlets, entertainment centers, and amusement parks in Tashkent was canceled after the cold temperature in Uzbekistan has started to recede slowly.
In order to ensure an uninterrupted supply of electricity and gas to residents' homes, the capital's administration had to shut down all trade and service outlets, entertainment malls, and parks in the city, except for food stores and catering establishments, be temporarily reduced in operation on days of abnormally cold weather.
"We apologize for the temporary inconvenience," the message from the governor's office reads.
