On January 20. The President's decision "On additional measures to transform internal affairs bodies into a pro-public professional structure" encompasses the code of professional culture and service discipline of the employees of the internal affairs bodies.
Thus, it is strictly illegal to:
- perform service duties and consume alcohol while on duty or in official uniform;
- exercise official powers in the interests of political parties, public associations and their bodies;
- organize business entities, be their founders, to perform organizational management, and administrative-economic tasks in the business entity (except for ownership of freely traded shares of joint-stock companies);
- receive any gifts and material wealth of any kind from them, or using their services, in return for performing or not performing service powers in the interests of individuals and legal entities;
In addition, employees should not be rude to citizens, humiliate their honour and dignity, and should not allow situations of unreasonable mental and physical influence.
If they do not follow the rules and requirements of the code or grossly violate them, they will be subject to disciplinary punishment up to dismissal from the internal affairs bodies.
