An Uzbek national who is purportedly one of the most wanted terrorists had been arrested in Chisinau, the capital of Moldova. This was reported by the press service of the Moldovan police.
The man, who was caught by the criminal investigation department of the National Investigation Inspectorate of Moldova, had been at large and wanted internationally in Uzbekistan and the USA. A 30-year-old man is a high-ranking member of international terrorist and extremist organizations and has been accused of committing terrorist crimes. Previously, he was accused of attempted murder in the territory of Moldova and served his sentence. At that time, he was expected to be extradited to Uzbekistan.
