Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan condemns terrorist act in Kabul that claimed lives of five people

Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday (January 12) made a statement concerning the terroristic act near the Foreign Ministry of Afghanistan.

‘We strongly condemn the terrorist act that took place on 11 January last in Kabul near the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan.

The cynical attack resulted in numerous human casualties, mainly among foreign service officials.

We express our sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims and wish them a speedy recovery’, the statement reads.

An explosion near Afghanistan’s Foreign Ministry claimed the lives of at least five people on Wednesday (January 11), according to police in Kabul. The explosion occurred in the capital’s diplomatic district, Zanbaq Square, around 4 p.m. local time.
