Since the beginning of the year, 67,000 Russians have opened bank accounts, and about half of them are permanently operating in Uzbekistan, - said the representative of the financial regulator, referring to the Chairman of the Board of the Central Bank, Mamarizo Nurmurodov.
According to the press service, there is still a high demand for bank cards in the country by Russian non-residents.
Despite the restrictions introduced in September for foreigners, requesting 15 continuous days in the country, the demand for Uzbek bank cards still remains high.
