In January-September 2022, the average monthly salary in Uzbekistan made up 3.72 million soums, an increase of 24.9% compared to the corresponding period of 2021, the State Statistics Committee.
The minimum monthly salary has been doubled - by a total of 23.1%, reaching 920,000 soums.
The highest salaries by industry are banking, finance and insurance - 9.73 million soums followed by the information and communication sector (6.97 million soums), transportation and storage sector in third place (4.85 million soums).
Programmers are leading with 10.4 million soums among the types of activities allocated within the spheres.
The lowest income was recorded in health and social services (2.51 million soums) and education (2.59 million soums).
Agricultural and small business entities were not taken into account when forming the average monthly salary for the months of January-September 2022, as they are required to submit a report once a year.
