The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has kept the main rate unchanged at 15% per annum.
On July 21, 2022, the Central Bank lowered the key rate by 1% to 15%.
By the decision of the Central Bank Board on April 14, 2020, the main rate was reduced by 1% and set at the annual level of 15%.
At the beginning of 2018, the annual rate was confirmed as 14 %. In 2019, this rate increased to 16. In March 2020, the base rate was left unchanged.
It was noted that the "Preliminary conceptual draft of the main directions of monetary policy for 2023 and 2024-2025" was also reviewed and approved at the meeting.
