On October 27, Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Astana to participate in the first "Central Asia-European Union" meeting of the heads of state where he was received by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov and other officials.
The Summit will bring together the leaders of the countries of the region and the President of the Council of Europe, Charles Michel.
In accordance with the agenda of the summit, the top officials will discuss prospects for the development of political dialogue, expansion of interregional cooperation, and trade-economic partnership.
