On October 17, the State hydrometeorology centre of Uzbekistan (SHCU) reported on cold and wet air masses entering all regions of the Republic.
Yet, with the long-term absence of precipitation and the inversion of air temperature, on October 17, from 18:00 to 23:00, the air pollution of the city of Tashkent with small dust particles is expected to increase. In this regard, SHCU was quick to warn the Tashkenters to try not to leave the house as much as possible. When on the street, it is necessary to wear a medical mask and change it every hour.
You should immediately contact a doctor if you experience shortness of breath, runny nose, wheezing, flu, red and itchy eyes, severe itching in the throat, and cough.
It is also recommended to rinse the nose and throat with a saline solution, keep the windows closed, and spread wet towels in front of the windows.
