It is planned to establish Acharya International University of Uzbekistan in the Karakol district of the Bukhara region. This was reported by the information service of the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development.
The Bukhara regional administration, the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development, and the network of Acharya Institutes signed a tripartite cooperation agreement on the establishment of the Acharya International University of Uzbekistan in the Karakol district.
The signing of this agreement was attended by Deputy Minister J. Egamberdiyev and Executive Director of Acharya Institutes Network Shalini Reddy.
In the first year of admission, the University wants to bring in 1400 students that will be taught by qualified professors from India.
Also, in order to create comfortable conditions for students that meet the requirements of the times, educational and laboratory rooms equipped with computer equipment, libraries enriched with the latest information resources, as well as comfortable dormitories, sports fields, and swimming pools will be built.
In cooperation with the network of Acharya institutes, it is planned to provide employment to students and increase the volume of export of software products by attracting leading companies of the world. The purpose of the university is to train qualified personnel in the field of information technologies in the country.
