In Uzbekistan, a project is being implemented to create and develop high-speed charging devices for electric cars using solar energy, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.
By taking into account the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan, a fast-charging device for electric vehicles can function in parallel with the local power grid via the solar photoelectric system which is also equipped with an energy storage system.
The top-notch apparatus generates 32 thousand kWh of electricity per year. This made it possible to charge 950 electric cars which mean 11.2 thousand cubic meters of natural gas can be saved preventing 19.8 tons of harmful gas emissions.
