A collective appeal that was submitted to the "Mehr va Oqibat", animal protection society, detected more than 100 dogs and cats brutally killed and dumped into a landfill near the city of Nukus
According to the shelter, on June 22-23, about 150 dogs disappeared from the area. that were released outside the city.
However, on July 7 more than 100 domestic animals’ corpses were found in a landfill near the city of Nukus with broken paws and wounds.
"Mehr va Oqibat" reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, as well as the prosecutor's office, with a request to punish them in accordance with the law.
