On July 18, Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia arrived in Tashkent. The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Deputy Prime Minister of Jamshid Khojayev escorted the Georgian official on his visit to the “Yangi O’zbekiston” park.
23 Uzbek companies supply Georgia with industrial goods, chemical products, beverages, cars and transport equipment. 69 Georgian entities, in turn, import pharmaceutical products, transport equipment, food products and other products.
Since 2017, the volume of trade between the countries has increased by 34.3% and amounted to 127.4 million dollars.
Georgian Prime Minister got interested in the huge investment and industrial potential of our country, the development of new joint projects and establishing direct contacts between the business circles of the two countries for the purpose of implementation remains the priority direction of bilateral cooperation.
