On July 18, Uzbek President convened an online meeting on controlling the crop exchange in the republic.
Grain has become an attractive crop for farmers. 88,000 tons of staple crop has been put into the exchange in July which led to the price fall by 30%. The state resource 1 million 842 thousand tons of grain was purchased and 57 thousand tons of grain were stored by farmers and clusters.
The head of state has instructed the khokims:
• To send at least 10,000 tons of grain to the exchange every day;
• To put the grain accepted for storage on the stock exchange and to organize a full settlement with farmers and clusters.
Regional, district and city mayors:
• To harvest the crop without losses in warehouses;
• To complete delivery of wheat to the stock exchange;
• To meet the demand for food flour and bread products.
