Kyrgyzstan's exports of milk and cream to Uzbekistan surged by 8 times during the first 7M24, according to the State Statistics Agency. This notable increase reflects a substantial rise in trade activity between the two countries.
From January to July 2024, Kyrgyzstan exported 100 tons of milk and cream to Uzbekistan, generating a revenue of $104,000. In comparison, during the same period last year, the exports amounted to only 12.6 tons, valued at $9,300.
In addition to Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan also exported 4,934 tons of milk and cream to Kazakhstan and 234.7 tons to Russia during this period. This demonstrates Kyrgyzstan's growing role in regional dairy exports.
