During the fiscal year spanning from January to December 2023, the public catering sector in Uzbekistan demonstrated significant fiscal contributions, totaling more than UZS 999.4bn ($79.5mn) in taxes. This financial input was reported by the Tax Committee, highlighting the vital role played by public catering enterprises in the country's economic landscape.

Out of the total tax revenue, approximately 17.1% was contributed by 20 prominent organizations, amounting to 170.7bn ($13.6mn). These entities collectively reported a trade turnover exceeding UZS 2 trillion ($15.9bn), while applying tax breaks totaling UZS 26.3bn ($2mn).

- Value-Added Tax: 74.4bn ($5.9mn)
- Income Tax: 51.6bn ($4.1mn)
