The emphasis on effective private and public collaboration aligns with our belief that impactful initiatives thrive on powerful partnerships. We wish them every success in their endeavors."
Seedstars, the main partner in the competition, expressed pride in collaborating with IOE for the Migration Challenge and commended the high-quality pitches: "The Fourth Migration Challenge represents a significant endeavor for us at Seedstars. It offers a firsthand look at how technology can positively transform migration, particularly when environmental considerations are more crucial than ever. It was great to see the participating startups bring solutions that could improve lives and support sustainable practices," said Seedstars’ Co-CEO Alisée de Tonnac.
The startup competition, held in Geneva, witnessed the participation of over 500 startups dedicated to easing the lives of immigrants. MohirDev, as the champion, will be awarded a cash prize of 5,000 Swiss Francs along with exclusive 1-on-1 mentorship sessions, IOE reported. The first and second runners-up will also receive valuable 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with subject matter experts to address challenges in their businesses. In addition to showcasing their achievements at the Forum, all 10 finalists will become part of the Migration Challenge Alumni Network. This provides them with connections within IOE's migration development network and opens doors to potential opportunities for internal development and partnerships.
