The University of Oxford, one of the world’s leading institutions for higher education, is set to introduce the Kazakh language into its curriculum. This development was announced by Sayasat Nurbek, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, following a visit to the United Kingdom.
Mr. Nurbek says that the Kazakh delegation entered into a cooperation agreement with representatives of Oxford University during their visit. This marks a significant milestone in the academic relationship between Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom.

During his visit to London, Mr. Nurbek met with Maya Chankseliani, the Associate Professor of Comparative and International Education at the University of Oxford. They discussed various aspects of scientific practices and the development of higher education centers.

As of 2023, there were more than 26,000 students at Oxford, including 12,683 undergraduates and 13,324 postgraduates.
