In a diplomatic stride towards strengthening technological cooperation, Rustami Emomali, Chairman of the National Assembly of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe and the eldest son of Emomali Rahmon, visited the House of Technological Innovations in Tehran during his official trip to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Avesta.Tj reported.
The visit, reported by the Dushanbe city administration's press service, unveiled the House of Technological Innovation as a showcase for Iran's latest scientific and nanotechnological achievements across diverse sectors, including food, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals.
Operating under the guidance of the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Intensive Industries, the House of Technological Innovation collaborates with foreign governments and scientific institutions to promote the export of scientific products and facilitate joint scientific and technical cooperation.
The highlight of Emomali's visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between him and Rukhullo Dekhkonia Firuzobodi, the Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran for science, technology, and knowledge-intensive sectors of the economy. This MoU signifies the establishment of a Tajik-Iranian Center for Innovation and Technology, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing scientific and technical collaboration.
Firuzobodi, Iran's Vice President, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the center's role in fostering international cooperation.
