The international innovative ideas week "InnoWeek.uz-2023" commenced with great enthusiasm, setting the stage for a week of creative education and innovation-focused discussions to contribute to the development of New Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation is hosting the event, which aims to foster collaboration between Uzbekistan and its international partners.
The inaugural event of this exciting week, the Uzbek-Iranian Business Forum, began with a promising start. The forum, aimed at bolstering economic ties between Uzbekistan and Iran, brought together an array of business leaders, scientists, and representatives from more than 100 local companies hailing from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Ravshan Otaboyev, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the event with a warm welcome:
"Bilateral cooperative relations are rapidly developing. Cooperation between countries plays an important role in relations with business circles. The visits made this year and the relevant documents signed laid the foundation for a new stage in the relations between the two countries. We are waiting for Iranian businessmen to do business in Uzbekistan, and we inform you that we are ready to consider proposals for opening joint ventures."
The Uzbek-Iranian Business Forum highlights the increasing importance of economic cooperation between these two nations. Leaders from both countries have been actively working to strengthen trade ties. Agriculture and the IT sector are just a few examples of areas in which cooperation is blossoming.
Hossein Parvarish, a representative of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Uzbekistan, emphasized the growing significance of trade relations:
"Trade relations between the two countries are being paid attention at the level of the heads of states. We can cite agriculture and the IT sector as examples of areas of cooperation. The opening of the Iranian House of Innovations and Technologies in Tashkent can be seen as an effective result of this cooperation."
The Uzbek-Iranian Business Forum will provide a platform for productive discussions, networking opportunities, and potential partnerships. The participation of Iranian businessmen, scientists, and company representatives further solidifies the commitment of both nations to enhancing their economic and business relationships.
This event marks the beginning of the innovative ideas week "InnoWeek.uz-2023," which promises to be a significant step toward the development of a more prosperous and technologically advanced Uzbekistan. The official opening ceremony for "InnoWeek.uz-2023" is scheduled for October 17, at 10:00 a.m. at the "Alpomish" ice palace.
