Uzbekistan's filmmakers were awarded diplomas at the "Arkadagyň säheri" International Film Festival, held (14-15 October) in the new city of Arkadag, 30 km from the Turkmen capital, Altyn Asyr TV reports.
Dilshod Usmanov presented the short film "Uzum" ("Grapes"), and Hilola Abdurasulova - "Uzbekiston mening orzum" ("Uzbekistan is my dream").
Representatives from Azerbaijan, France, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Russia also took part in the cultural event.
The festivities concluded with a show presented by artists from Turkmenistan, whose repertoire was diverse and included performances in Uzbek.
