President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan convened with Rob Walton, President and CEO of GE HealthCare in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, during his visit to New York. The meeting served as a platform to explore collaborative projects within Uzbekistan, as per to the presidential press service's September 19 report.
General Electric Corporation, a global industrial powerhouse, expressed its aspirations to expand investments and technological cooperation with Uzbek enterprises within the framework of a strategic partnership. This collaboration would encompass the delivery of cutting-edge high-tech equipment and the execution of localization projects.
Rob Walton, President of GE HealthCare, underscored the launch of cardiograph production, screening, and cardio information systems within Uzbekistan's healthcare sector. Additionally, GE HealthCare intends to play a role in establishing the National Medical Data Archive in Uzbekistan.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish a "roadmap" that outlines the specific steps and milestones for the successful execution of these joint projects.
