President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan met with Brian Hook, Vice-President of Cerberus, during his visit to New York. The discussions revolved around collaborative ventures spanning various sectors of the economy, presidential press service reported on September 19.
Cerberus, a global investment corporation with assets exceeding $60bn, expressed its intent to invest in modernization projects encompassing communication networks, mineral extraction, transportation, and energy infrastructure in Uzbekistan. Vice President Brian Hook outlined plans for the initiation of these cooperation projects by the end of the current year.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to establish a "roadmap" for future cooperation, outlining the specific steps and goals to be achieved in this collaborative effort.
