In a significant meeting, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov welcomed his appointed envoy to the Batken region, Abdikarim Alimbaev, to discuss crucial developments and initiatives aimed at strengthening the socio-economic growth of this vital region. Notably, Alimbaev informed President Japarov that the construction of houses for the citizens affected by the events of September 14-17, 2022, in Batken, Leilek districts, and Batken city had been successfully completed.
Furthermore, under the auspices of a presidential decree, a master plan was devised for the Kapchygai and Dostuk villages within the Batken region. These villages have undergone comprehensive reconstruction, aligning with the master plan's vision. Key accomplishments include the restoration of burnt houses, as well as the asphalting of internal roads in these villages.
Lighting infrastructure has been installed, and a reliable drinking water supply system has been established. In accordance with the assessments of civil defense commissions, residents who lost their homes due to fires or required significant repairs were promptly provided with full monetary compensation. Those who suffered losses, such as damage to their vehicles or livestock, also received the necessary financial support.
President Sadyr Japarov, upon receiving this update, reiterated the government's unwavering commitment to the Batken region. He emphasized that the region would continue to receive the utmost attention from the state, with all available resources and efforts being channeled toward fulfilling the nation's goals and objectives.
