According to Kyrgyzstan's National Statistical Committee, trade with Afghanistan in the past six months has reached over $13.2mn. Exports exceeded $11.9mn of this amount while imports were over $2.1mn.
Over the six months, Kyrgyzstan's top exports to Afghanistan were legumes worth over $6.6mn and vegetables worth over $3.8mn.
Other goods exported to Afghanistan included automobile gasoline worth $317,800, other petroleum products worth $4,300, cars worth $85,500, onion and garlic worth $75,600, vegetable oils worth $73,200, reactors, nuclear reactors, boilers, pumps, and other devices worth $20,600, seeds worth $20,500, dried vegetables worth $10,000, and living plants worth $1,100.
Kyrgyzstan's top import from Afghanistan was aluminum, exceeding $1.7mn.
Other imports from Afghanistan included cucumbers and gherkins worth $163,500, water worth $103,300, rice worth $45,900, and plastic containers worth $25,200.
Small amounts of vegetables, grapes and nuts, tea, mineral fuel, woven carpets, and precious and semi-precious stones were also imported from Afghanistan.
