    Kyrgyzstan and Turkey strengthen human rights cooperation in high-level diplomatic meeting

    In a significant diplomatic encounter, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov held talks with the Chief Ombudsman of Turkey, Şeref Malkoç, during Malkoç's official visit to Kyrgyzstan. The meeting took place with the aim of enhancing bilateral cooperation in the realm of human rights protection, rooted in universally accepted principles and international legal norms.

    The press service of the Kyrgyzstani head of state disclosed that during their discussions, both parties extensively discussed various avenues for intensifying collaboration in safeguarding human rights. President Sadyr Japarov warmly welcomed Malkoç's commitment to fostering connections between the respective Ombudsman institutions of their nations and facilitating the exchange of valuable expertise.

    President Japarov underscored the enduring and fraternal ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, emphasizing their continual strengthening. He expressed his confidence that the considerable public service experience of Şeref Malkoç would be instrumental in further reinforcing the already robust cooperation between the two nations.

    In response, Şeref Malkoç conveyed his gratitude to President Japarov for the warm reception and extended greetings from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Malkoç highlighted the dynamic growth of bilateral relations between the two countries, which are founded on a sense of brotherhood, and emphasized the importance of enhancing their partnership in the sphere of human rights protection.

    Malkoç also revealed that a memorandum had been signed during his visit to Kyrgyzstan, outlining plans for the expansion of cooperation between the Ombudsman offices of the two countries. He expressed his readiness to engage closely with Kyrgyz colleagues through a series of mutual visits and the exchange of invaluable experiences.

    The meeting between President Sadyr Japarov and Chief Ombudsman Şeref Malkoç underscores the commitment of both Kyrgyzstan and Turkey to fortify their bilateral ties, particularly in the crucial domain of human rights protection. The steps taken during this diplomatic exchange further reflect the shared values and aspirations of the two nations in their ongoing efforts to promote and safeguard the rights and dignity of their citizens.
