Gymnast Tahmina Ikromova secured Uzbekistan's first qualification for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The announcement came from the National Olympic Committee's press office.
Competing in the Artistic Gymnastics World Championship in Valencia, Spain, Ikromova earned a total of 124.200 points in the all-around program, achieving a ninth-place finish across four exercises.
By entering the top 14, Ikromova earned her ticket to the Olympics in 2024. It's worth noting that the Summer Olympics are scheduled to take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
