Sherzod Asadov was born on May 4, 1981 in Bukhara region. Graduated from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Asadov knows Russian, English, Spanish, Turkish. During his career, Sherzod Asadov was an attaché, 3rd secretary of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore (2008-2012), assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2015-2017), counselor of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria - chargé d'affaires (2017-2018), He worked as the extraordinary and autonomous ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria, the permanent representative of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the OSCE and other international organizations (2018-2020), and from 2020 to March 2021, he worked as the deputy minister of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan.
In March 2021, at the meeting of video selectors chaired by the president, Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that changes will be made to the leadership of the administration. "Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sherzod Asadov will be the deputy head of the administration - press secretary of the president. I signed the decree on this today. Sherzod Asadov has knowledge, knows foreign languages, has seen the world," the president said at that time.
