The Deputy Mayor of Namangan, Okibjon Inomov, met with Mitesh Verma, head of EI Company from India to discuss prospects for implementing the project to create a sanatorium complex in the Chartak district of Namangan region of Uzbekistan.
Discussions centered on organizational issues regarding constructing a new joint health facility. The exchange of views revolved around equipping it with modern equipment, introducing new technologies and knowledge, and systematically improving specialists' skills.
The Indian company plans to invest $5mn to implement the project.
Earlier, Daryo reported that a group of surgeons from Aakash Healthcare in India is conducting a surgical camp at their Tashkent branch. The center features over 30 operations, including Uzbekistan's first-ever bilateral hip replacement surgery.
