    Uzbekistan and UN strengthen cooperation on regional security and Afghanistan

    Ismatulla Irgashev, the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan, held a constructive meeting with Miroslav Jenča, the Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations. The meeting on August 18, revolved around discussions on various aspects of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Nations, with a particular focus on regional security enhancement and the ongoing situation in Afghanistan.
