The "Qishloq Qurilish Bank" will be transformed into the "Biznesni Rivojlantirish Banki," announced President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during an open dialogue with entrepreneurs on August 18.
During the discussion, the head of state emphasized the importance of creating new opportunities for small businesses. It is noted that as a result of the work carried out in recent years in the country to develop micro-businesses and family entrepreneurship, there are now at least 40-50 new entrepreneurs emerging in each region, creating thousands of permanent jobs.
"However, a favorable atmosphere in terms of targeted support for small businesses, creating the necessary conditions for them, is not yet fully formed," the head of state said.
Completely new approaches will be implemented to help small entrepreneurs stand on their feet and expand their activities. This will involve establishing a comprehensive ecosystem for training representatives of this field in entrepreneurship, project design, activity financing, finding markets for their products, and business partners.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that to achieve this, first and foremost, the "Qishloq Qurilish Bank" will be transformed into the "Biznesni Rivojlantirish Banki." Both the functioning and methods of operation, as well as the financing mechanisms of this new bank, will be innovative.
"In particular, a total of 14 small business centers will be established in each region under the bank. These centers will assist entrepreneurs in developing business projects, training entrepreneurs who wish to undertake new projects on their own, attracting necessary specialists to new projects, and providing entrepreneurs with accounting, tax, auditing, marketing, legal, and other consulting services," the president said.
On August 17, Shavkat Mirziyoyev's orders regarding the recognition of a group of active entrepreneurs were announced, and today, a group of industry representatives has been recognized as well.
