On August 17, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has issued a decree that abolishes the post of the head of the Presidential Administration and introduces substantial changes to the administration's structure, the press service of the president reported.
Bekenov Sunatulla Khusanovich has been relieved of his duties as the assistant to the head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Simultaneously, Rakhimov Furkat Zhalolovich has been dismissed from his role as the head of the sector responsible for the preparation of analytical materials and coordination of divisional activities within the Administration of the Executive Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Earlier Daryo reported that the President of Uzbekistan has issued a directive naming Umurzakov Sardor Uktamovich as a presidential adviser.
