The US Embassy in Uzbekistan is cautioning citizens of Uzbekistan regarding the potential repercussions of submitting false documents during interviews. The embassy emphasizes that presenting fraudulent documents or inaccurate information could permanently revoke one's visa eligibility.
'The US Embassy in Tashkent warns the winners of the Diversity Visa (Green Card) program that the presentation of forged documents at the interview may result in the deprivation of the right to obtain a visa on a permanent basis. Do not risk a lifetime ban on issuing a visa. Do not trust third parties who advise you to provide false documents or incorrect information when applying for a visa',
the message reads.
Last year, Uzbekistan secured a top-three spot for Green Card recipients, with 5,511 citizens earning the coveted prize. While Algeria closely followed with 5,526 winners, Egypt claimed the top spot with 5,529.
