Kyrgyzstan has offered Turkey the opportunity to exchange its public debt for "green technologies" and participation in the construction of the city of "Asman." The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkey, Ruslan Kazakbaev, and the Minister of the Environment, Mehmet Ozhaseki, held discussions regarding this matter.
Kazakbaev highlighted that Kyrgyzstan has an ongoing annual tree-planting campaign, known as the Jashyl Muras project, which involves planting six million seedlings. He also expressed that Ankara could provide assistance in constructing an eco-city near Issyk-Kul, a popular tourist destination in Kyrgyzstan known for its pristine beauty.
In response, the Minister, Mehmet Ozhaseki, proposed the creation of a working group involving relevant departments from both countries to facilitate the implementation of Kyrgyz projects. This indicates Turkey's willingness to engage in collaborative efforts and support the initiatives put forth by Kyrgyzstan.
