The Ministry of Transport in Uzbekistan has launched a new online service that simplifies the process for foreign airlines operating in the country.
Regular flight permits to Uzbekistan will now be granted electronically, streamlining the process. The online application form can be easily filled out by the official representative of the foreign airline on the air.uztrans.uz website.
Previously, the process was paper-based and involved tedious authorization procedures. Thanks to introducing of the new information system, unnecessary bureaucracy has been eliminated, and the approval process time has been significantly reduced.
The Civil Aviation Agency, the Center "Uzaeronavigation," and Uzbekistan Airports evaluate the permit during the negotiation process. Once approved, the deputy minister of transport provides an electronic digital signature. This new system is a significant improvement and will make the process easier for everyone involved.
