Israeli settlers retaliate by attacking Palestinian villages following the Palestinians' attack on a gas station in Eli. One Palestinian was killed, and twelve others were injured, Euronews reports.
The incidents occurred in the village of Turmus-Aya in the West Bank as a response to the Palestinians' attack on a gas station near the Eli settlement, which resulted in the deaths of four Israelis. Two of the attackers, members of the military wing of Hamas, were killed.
Reports indicate that settlers also attacked Huwara, Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, and nearby villages, resulting in 34 Palestinians being injured and dozens of cars being set on fire.
In response to the attack in Eli, the Israeli government announced its intention to construct one thousand new homes in the area.
"Our response to terror is to strike back hard and build on our land." - The authorities stated.
On Wednesday, the funerals of the four deceased Israelis took place, including a 17-year-old, attended by dozens of people.
