The production of cans, plugs, caps, and other glass products in Kazakhstan saw a significant increase of 2.5 times in 1Q2023 compared to the previous year, media reports.
The production of over 5,000 pieces of these items resulted in a growth of 28% in exports, with a total of 747,700 products exported.
There was also a 3% increase in imports, with 4.6mn pieces of cans, caps, and similar products brought in. 8.9mn of these products were sold in the domestic market over the first three months of the current year.
