The Russian government strongly advises its citizens to avoid traveling to Afghanistan unless it is necessary or for official purposes, TASS reports.
Zamir Kabulov, the special representative of the Russian president on Afghanistan and the director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' second Asian department, emphasized the importance of this issue.
The Russian embassy in Kabul, with a better understanding of the situation, discourages any travel to Afghanistan. Kabulov acknowledged the ongoing tense situation in Afghanistan and highlighted that the Consulate General of Russia's opinion aligns with that of the Afghan Embassy in Russia.
In an effort to ensure visitor safety, the Afghan government is issuing visas to businessmen for organized visits, indicating their commitment to providing maximum security guarantees.
